The god crafted them in a single night & the most remarkable of all was the #ShieldofAchilles. The shield was made of bronze, tin, gold, & silver, formed in five concentric layers, both strong & radiant. The shield holds the world itself — a complete image of human life, carried into battle by Achilles.
